Our Heart

Ten for Ten was created from a simple belief: small acts of intentional care can change lives. What began as a youth‑focused initiative has grown into a mission centered on serving individuals experiencing homelessness in Charlotte — especially during the coldest months of the year.

We believe dignity is a right. Warmth is a necessity. Hope is a lifeline. And compassion is a calling.

Ten for Ten exists to meet people where they are, offering practical support, emotional encouragement, and faith‑rooted connection to those who often feel unseen.
 

Our Mission

Ten for Ten is a seasonal outreach initiative dedicated to providing ten winter‑ready care kits twice a year to individuals experiencing homelessness. Each kit is intentionally curated to meet real needs — warmth, hygiene, nourishment, and encouragement — during the months when cold temperatures make survival even harder.

What’s Inside Each Kit

Every Ten for Ten kit is built with care, practicality, and compassion. Items include:

• Thermal socks

• Insulated gloves

• Warm hat or beanie

• Fleece or thermal blanket

• Hand warmers

• Hygiene essentials

• Non‑perishable snacks

• Reusable water bottle

• First‑aid basics

• Rain poncho

• Scripture encouragement card

Why This Work Matters

We assemble and distribute ten care kits during the coldest seasons.
